When they had asked you to resubmit the docs, had they given you 221g blue form?
My case is weird, At the time of interview he approved my visa, gave me a card to fight for labour law enforcement in USA If I ever sit on bench in USA,
and then collected my passport.
When I received the courier , I was sure I have theb visa stamped already.
But I found 221g blue enclosed, along with passport, asking me to resubmit I797 etc
When I was asked to resubmit documents after the interview (via drop box), the consulate said they will need 6-8 working days from the date of receipt of the latter. They indeed took only 7 working days.
Also, I believe they must already have done PIMS verification in my case since they asked for additional info 16 days after the interview. So in total it took them 29 days ( incl weekends)
In your case, it doesnt seem they got enough time to do PIMS. It is hard to
estimate the delays.
Good luck though buddy....you will be fine.

I dunno about which bank is the best but I guarantee this ICICI does sucks! they act like as if they are ruling NRI. and of course like anyone else we had a very bad experience talking with their home loan dept too. Honestly - If I may say something about this....I can say this with 100% confidence that sooner or later we all will witness their demise. count on it.
The point is that they cannot JUST do this to us(NRI) or I can say it is we who made their success if they are really. but by the sheer power of community like this - we can definitely teach them a good lesson by just quit banking with ICICI. guess what you will be proud of what you did in the very near future. SBI still IS doing reasonably well and you still can get better rates though.

why bother about I129 if you have a GC ?
I'm just keen to find out what's going on, and to get input on whether the I-129 being revoked is anything that can affect the I-140/I-485. I doubt it but would like to be sure. And to share what's going on in my case with others where it may have more of an impact if their H-1B ends up being revoked.
Anyway, I doubt if it's anything that can't be fixed; my company is very reputable and our attorneys are already engaged.

Based on this poll, anybody with PD of Jun2002 onwards should consider Porting to EB2.

My analysis for EB2. If some one is not agree with this, please ignore it but don't put any rude comment.
DOL approved labor as follow
For India (all category assume 50% are EB2)
2005 : 1350 (EB2-I : 675
2006 : 22298 (EB2-I : 11149)
2007 : 24573 (EB2-I : 12286)
2007 before July 2007 (approximately 65%)
July 2007 : 15972 (EB2-I : 7986)
2007 labor approval is for FY (up to Sept 07). If person have approved labor before July 2007, 99% he/she might have filed I 485.
Consider derivative (Dependent) factor : 2.5
Following numbers of I 485 pending applications for EB2-I:
2006 : 27872
2007 : 19965
Total : 47837
As per Sen Kyl's information pending I 485 for EB2 India : 51717
PD Before 31 Dec 2005 : 3880
PD Before 31 Dec 2006 : 31752

As you can see some of those old timers are still languishing here! Funny thing is becoming current is no guarantee of completion of processing, it merely gives you a chance to be hopeful!

does soft LUD mean RFE is comming or does it mean there are just pre adjudicating. Seems like a lot of people who got a soft LUD on 485 recieved rfe. Are there any people who had a soft lud on 485 but did not recieve any rfe.

I am still debating whether to call in or to write - but I will definitely do one of the two. I just read the other thread linked to by 'internet' above & thought I would say a couple of things to the losers at alipac who worship racists like tancredo and lou: Don't distort this thread's message - we not are trying to gag Mr.Lou however much I puke everytime I see him spewing venow on 'aliens' -and I sometimes even admire his constant state of outrage and complete lack of shame. If an aparment costs 70 lakhs and that is renting for 15 thousand, how does it make sense to invest in it? The return on 70 lakhs at 12%(or 10%) is 7 lakhs/year. That is approx. 60 thousand per month. If you buy an apartment and rent it, it gives you 15 thousand. Don't you see the problem? The return on investment is low, very low. The fact that it is renting only for 15 thousand tells us that it is not affordable for most of the average guys in the city. The theory that there are more demand to snap up 70 lakh, 1 crore apartments is simply not true.

IV tracker shows 3000+ EB3-I applicants, however, it is not a good tool to make analysis off of. The sorting function does not consider month-year combo. Anybody knows how to download the data to run your own post processing??
